Duty to Consult
The focus of this training is to provide an understanding of the legal history and requirements of the duty to consult. The course will provide an understanding of consultation and engagement processes, best practices and strategies to protect the Indigenous rights, land uses, culture & identity and the environment. These learnings will be applied to a variety of sectors within resource development, such as forestry or oil & gas/energy development.

Sponsorship: Maximum $3,000 per First Nation. As space is limited, only one representative per First Nation will be accepted. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
