NALMA National Workforce Study Survey

By January 13, 2026No Comments

Dear NALMA Members and Lands Professionals,

NALMA is undertaking a National Workforce Study to better understand the past, present, and future of land management across Canada. This study will help us identify current and emerging workforce needs, understand training pathways, and strengthen NALMA’s capacity to support Land Managers, Land Technicians, and communities across all regions. We are asking all PLMCP Certified Land Managers who receive it to participate, whether they are still working as land managers or not.

NALMA has engaged Imagination Consulting to support this initiative by developing the survey instrument and assisting with data analysis. You will shortly receive an invitation directly from NALMA containing a link to the online survey. Your participation is essential. The insights gathered will directly inform NALMA’s strategic planning, training development, and long-term workforce investments.

The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and will be open from January 12 to February 20, 2026. Your responses will remain confidential, and results will be reported in aggregate. Identifiable information will not be shared unless you voluntarily choose to enter the prize draw at the end of the survey.

We sincerely thank you for contributing to this critical initiative. Your voice and experience will help shape the future of land management across Canada.
