Understanding Your Role in the Reserve Land and Environment Management Program (RLEMP) (Virtual)

The Reserve Land and Environment Management Program (RLEMP) is an extensive initiative designed to empower First Nations to effectively manage diverse land, environmental, and natural resource issues. This training covers the four principles of RLEMP, its objectives, and the key functions essential to land management. Additionally, it explores the implications of advancements within RLEMP and the responsibilities of the First Nation Council, the land manager, and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC).

Le Programme de gestion des terres et de l’environnement de la réserve (PGETR) est une initiative vaste conçue pour permettre aux Premières Nations de gérer efficacement la diversité des enjeux liés aux terres, à l’environnement et aux ressources naturelles. Cette formation couvre les quatre principes du PGETR, ses objectifs et les fonctions clés essentielles à la gestion des terres. De plus, il explore les implications des avancées au sein du PGETR et les responsabilités du Conseil des Premières Nations, du gestionnaire des terres et de Services Autochtones Canada (SAC).
