On behalf of the British Columbia Aboriginal Land Managers Association (BCALM) and Shared Value Solutions, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your participation in the recent Indigenous Data Sovereignty workshop. Your engagement and insightful contributions enriched the discussions and were pivotal to the success of the event.
Toolkit Coming Soon
The insights and perspectives you shared during the workshop have provided us with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse challenges faced within your communities and departments. Your valuable input is shaping the development of our final toolkit, which we anticipate will be available soon. We are in the final stages of preparing customizable materials and tools to support your ongoing efforts.
Next Steps: Digital Maturity Assessment and 1-on-1 Support Sessions
We are excited to invite you to participate in our Indigenous Data Sovereignty Digital Maturity Assessment and to register for our 1-on-1 support sessions. The Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA) is a critical tool designed to help your Nation understand its current level of digital capabilities and infrastructure. It provides a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects such as digital services, data management, and technology integration. By participating in the DMA, your Nation will gain valuable insights into areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, enabling more effective strategic planning and resource allocation.
To support you through this process, we are offering four 1-hour personalized support sessions. These sessions are designed to provide tailored guidance and assistance, ensuring that your Nation can maximize the benefits of the assessment and enhance its data sovereignty. You are welcome to register for the Digital Maturity Assessment and 1-on-1 support sessions even if you were unable to attend the workshop.
How to Participate:
Complete the Digital Maturity Assessment: Access the assessment through the online survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9Y2PW8C.
Register for 1-on-1 Support Sessions: Register for 1-on-1 support at the end of the Digital Maturity Assessment survey.
Schedule a Meeting: Shared Value Solutions will contact you to arrange a meeting.
We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen your data capacities and capabilities. Your participation is crucial in driving forward our collective goal of achieving data sovereignty.
