Land Use Planning Toolkit Training
January 23 - January 25
NALMA’s Land Use Planning Unit would like to invite you to a Land Use Planning Toolkit Training on January 23-25, 2024 in Vancouver, BC. Below are the preliminary plans for the training:
Date: January 23-25, 2024 (2.5 days)
Location: The Westin Bayshore Vancouver: 1601 Bayshore Drive, Vancouver, BC V6G 2V4
Attendees: This training is specifically targeted at Land Managers interested in undertaking LUP projects, with support through NALMA’s LUP Initiative. We have space available for 1 representative per community. If you would like to request additional attendees, please contact us to discuss.
Objectives:
Training: Condensed training on NALMA’s LUP Toolkit and the planning process
Knowledge Sharing: Opportunity for land managers to share information on individual LUP projects, and discuss common challenges and opportunities
Program Updates: Overview of current LUP programs, resources, and support available to Land Managers
Draft Agenda: To follow
Costs: NALMA will reimburse travel costs for Land Manager attendees, up to $3,000 CAD per person (based on eligible expenses).
